I first met Hawaii artist, Rebekah Ford on August 9, 2016. We did not meet in person. We met on-line in Etsy conversations. Rebekah had purchased a few pieces from me.
I remember our conversation because there was a connection made that went above and beyond a shopping spree. I'm not even sure if I am able to find the words to properly express it, but she got me - she seemed to understand where I was coming from, perhaps sensing the soul behind the leather. That was what made creating for her even more special - I really wanted to bless her.
Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago when I finally noticed her work. Lordy!! I was blown away! Her choice of color and the bright hues and mish-mash of shades creates a well-choreographed dance that transcends my soul to its happy place. You must check out her art! If you don't see what I see or feel what I feel, you have my permission to tell me I'm bonkers. I doubt you will though.
Oh by the way, It was THIS photo that caught my attention. The earrings looked very familiar but I wasn't quite sure so I checked them out thoroughly and yep, that was my work. Rebekah is wearing my Mini Kimani Tassel Earrings, and if I do say so myself, she ROCKS them out! BEAUTIFULLY!!
