Shipping

Please make sure all SHIP TO information is accurate before placing your order. I am not responsible for packages that are lost in shipment.

Production Time:

I make every attempt to fill orders as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality and workmanship. Most all items are made to order to your specifications unless otherwise noted in the listing. Typically production time for clothing items; 7 to 10 business days; for jewelry and accessories 3 to 5 business days.

If you have a specific date you need your item or are in a rush, please contact us.

Rush shipping upgrades are available in your cart at checkout.

CUSTOM ORDERS require additional time for delivery because we believe in personalized service and work with each customer individually to provide the best design and the best fit. Please  contact us for more information.

Estimated delivery times via USPS:

  • USA Standard First Class: 3-5 business days
  • Priority Mail: 2-3 business days
  • Priority Express Mail:1-2 business days
  • International: 10 to 14 days from ship date, but can sometimes take as long as 6-8 weeks depending on location and customs.

Please remember that the transit times listed only estimates and not guaranteed.

 

VAT, Customs, Import Taxes

Customs and import taxes

The prices set on this website do not include any of the following; vat and import taxes, customs and excise duties, nor are they collected at checkout. Buyers are responsible for the above listed fees and any other fees assessed by the destination country. I'm not responsible for any delays due to customs. If you prefer to pay VAT at checkout, please visit my Etsy Shop to make your purchase. 

The packing slip included with your packaged order will contain the following; description of the purchased items, the price of each item, quantities, USPS shipping costs paid, and method of payment and date. I will not falsify any information provided on the packing slip and or customs declaration form.

To find out what extra charges and fees that may be associated with purchasing goods from the USA, check with your national tax administration.

UK orders are subject to a minimum purchase of $200.00 USD.

 

Returns, Refunds, Cancellations, Exchanges and Warranty

Cancellations

Once your order is received, the process of creating your leather art piece to your specifications begins. Therefore, a request for a cancellation needs to be made within one hour of placing your order. A 30% Re-Stocking Fee will be charged on all canceled orders. Orders processed through Afterpay's services, cannot be canceled.

Discount Codes

Discount Codes and Coupons cannot be added retrospectively. In order to receive the discount, coupon codes need to be added when prompted during the checkout process.

Returns and Refunds

 At Sexy Skins Leather / Lisa M. Cantalupo, each and every piece we design and create comes with it years of experience and expertise, attention to detail, and the highest quality materials. Your satisfaction is a priority. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, within the first 7 days after receipt of your leather item, you must contact us to arrange and receive authorization for a return or an exchange. Items need to be returned and in our possession within 14 days of delivery, in their original and salable conditionwith tags intact, and in their original packaging. Unfortunately at this time, after 14 days we cannot accept returns.

Shipping charges are not refundable and buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.

A 30% Re-Stocking Fee will be charged on all returned items. 

Due to the variations in size, all leather rings are considered special orders and are not returnable.

All items which are custom orders, custom designs, custom made to fit you, and items which are tweaked, altered, or changed in any way to suit you in any way cannot be returned so please make sure the measurements you provide are accurate. 

All sale and personalized merchandise are final sales and are not returnable.

We are very careful when cutting the leather and creating your leather piece to ensure the final piece is of excellent quality. Prior to shipment, all pieces are thoroughly inspected, cleaned and conditioned before they are lovingly packaged and shipped.

Leather is a natural material and each hide has its own unique personality with its markings, scars, creases, and variations in thickness, softness, color and elasticity. These characteristics are considered beautiful and not a defect, and DO NOT constitute reason for a return or exchange. Therefore, before purchasing, please read each listing for a detailed description of the leather used in the making of that design.

We reserve the right to refuse a return and or exchange of any item that does not meet the above requirements as well as the following conditions:

    • All items must be in new, unworn, in salable condition, and in its original packaging with tags intact to qualify for an exchange or refund.
    • We must be contacted within 7 days after the receipt of your order to qualify for a return/refund.
    • The item must be returned and in our possession within 14 days of the receipt of your order. After 14 days, returns, refunds and exchanges will not be accepted. 
    • The buyer is responsible for all shipping fees for an exchange or return.
    • Returns are subject to a 30% Re-stocking fee.
    • For exchanges on International orders, buyer will be charged for shipping.
    • Shipping charges are not refunded on returns. You are responsible for the shipping charges to return the product to us, including insurance. We are not responsible for items lost during shipment. Please make sure all SHIP TO information is accurate before placing your order.
    • Sale items and items marked as final sale, are final and no returns or exchanges will be accepted.
    • Proof of purchase is required
    • All customized items are final sales as these custom items cannot be resold.   

To ensure that every return and or exchange is handled fairly and as protection to all of our customers, we reserve the right to not refund the following:

    • Items with a missing label, tags, or an item that has been defaced.
    • Items that have been soiled, contaminated, or have any kind of odor or scent including perfume, cologne and hair and makeup products.
    • Items damaged due to mishandling, fire, flood or natural disaster.

Sexy Skins Leather / Lisa M. Cantalupo  is not responsible for any missing packages or COD. We have the right to charge a restocking fee of 30%. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of packages received without a return authorization.

Color Disclaimer: All photographs of the Color Cards are as accurate as possible and may vary from monitor to monitor, and from hide to hide. Differences in color DO NOT constitute reason for a return or exchange. If color is of concern, prior to purchase, please contact me to request a cutting of current leather stock.

Warranty

At Sexy Skins Leather / Lisa M. Cantalupo  we stand by the design, the craftsmanship and the enduring quality of our handcrafted products therefore we will replace and or repair our products that may have material and or workmanship defects such as; unusual defects in the leather, hardware failure, stitching, etc. Leather is a natural material and each hide has its own unique personality with its markings, scars, creases, and variations in color and elasticity. These characteristics are considered beautiful, not a defect, and are not covered under this warranty. Sizing issues due to inaccurate measurements provided or selected during checkout, are not covered in this warranty. Please see "Repairs" Policy Below.

    • Our warranty policy does NOT cover neglect, misuse, mishandling, improper storage, general wear and tear, staining, sizing issues, or the natural aging and patina process.
    • Proof of purchase is mandatory when making a warranty claim.
    • The buyer is responsible for all shipping fees associated with a warrantied item. We are not responsible for lost items during shipping.
    • Warranty does not cover lost screws.

Repairs

Repairs not covered in the warranty above, repairs of sizing issues due to inaccurate measurements provided or selected during checkout are subject to a service charge to cover labor and materials, and will be invoiced and prepaid by the buyer before work commences.  Please contact me for an estimate. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees associated with the repair including the return shipping back to you.

Properly Returning Items

All returns, exchanges, and warranty repairs must be approved by Sexy Skins Leather / Lisa M. Cantalupo prior to returning the item. Please contact us to review your warranty claim for approval.
