Custom Designing
Some of Lisa’s custom designs can be seen on stage, television, and on the big screen on clients such as; Morgan Wallen, Pharrell, Zach Williams, The Monster from the television show, “Legacies”, Magic Dick from the J. Geils Band, Alan Lee, Demi Rose, Candice Van Der Merwe.
• CUSTOM DESIGNING•
Custom designing is a collaborative process where each piece begins with an idea and evolves into a one-of-a-kind work of wearable art. Clients work closely with Lisa Maria Cantalupo to select leathers, textures, colors, silhouettes, and design elements that reflect their personal style, performance needs, or creative vision.
From handcrafted leather couture and stagewear to statement jewelry, accessories, jackets, and custom specialty pieces, every design is individually handcrafted with careful attention to detail, movement, durability, and artistry.
Custom design services are available both by appointment for clients local to New Hampshire and remotely for clients worldwide. Read more about the custom design process.
• DESIGN ESTIMATES•
An initial ballpark may be provided based on the general scope of the project and, when applicable, similar work previously completed by Lisa Maria Cantalupo.
Because every custom piece is individually designed and handcrafted, a formal project estimate is developed only after the custom design process has begun. The final estimate takes into consideration the finalized design, materials, construction techniques, labor, and overall complexity of the project.
Once the project has been accepted for the custom design process, a design agreement will be prepared and the $150 nonrefundable design fee will be required to begin design development. The design fee is applied toward the final balance of the completed piece.
• DESIGN PAYMENT •
Once the design direction has been finalized, a formal estimate outlining the materials, design elements, and construction details of the proposed piece will be provided along with concept sketches when applicable.
A deposit equal to half of the estimated project total is required before work begins. The remaining balance, minus the previously applied design fee, will be invoiced upon completion of the custom piece along with shipping costs if applicable.
