Leather Love

I never thought I would enjoy making leather and suede flowers this much! And now that the path down “wedding day bliss” has begun, I am even more in love! I get to share in a (very small) way, in the BIG day in the lives of two people as they commit themselves to loving one another….to death do they part. Motorcycle Mamma, Joann, requested a custom designed pink leather motorcycle jacket that would represent her winning battle with breast cancer. When asked what helped her to stay and conquer, she replied, "my dogs". That became the inspiration behind the leather inlay design on the back yoke of her jacket; the paw print and a pink ribbon centered in between a set of wings.

On the front yoke on each side of the zipper, another paw print and pink ribbon. For accent, I added beige leather piping throughout...

I had the honor of creating a few leather jackets for celebrity motorcycle and exotic car builder, Alan Lee.  The fist, could be seen in action on the television show, "The Chopper Challenge".  Alan was the builder for Monster Energy's motorcycle and he appeared wearing his jacket during the show and after while touring the country and world with his infamous glass gas tank "ME" motorcycle.   All three jackets graced...
